Oblate Program at Belmont Abbey, NC

2014 Gaston County Life Chain: October 5

baby_webWhat is Life Chain?
It’s a peaceful, public witness in which people line the sidewalks with pro-life signs and pray, forming a living monument to LIFE. Come, let us seek God’s divine intervention for the healing of our community and nation.

Who should attend?
All who would like to promote a pro-life culture. Bring the family!

Come, let us pray for (Pastors are invited to add prayer topics for their own congregation):

  • our personal repentance and for spiritual awakening in our community and nation
  • the protection of unborn children and for an end to legalized abortion in America
  • God to convict and draw to Himself abortionists and those who defend them
  • all who witness our Life Chain, that their hearts, minds, and eyes will accept the truth
  • our Christian leaders, that they will extol Godliness whatever the cost-For our public officials, that they will uphold justice and righteousness
  • God’s anointing and divine use of Life Chains throughout the country

Life Chain Route:
The intersection of E Franklin Blvd and Cox Rd/Armstrong Park Rd in Gastonia, wherever sidewalk space is available. We will space ourselves 25 feet apart, with the exception of those with small children.

Signs will be provided, and can be picked up starting at 1:30 pm from the Hobby Lobby parking lot (2135 E Franklin Blvd), or from the Crisis Pregnancy Center truck, which will be parked in the Gaston Mall lot. Please return signs to either of these locations at the end of Life Chain, so that they can be reused.

Remember to bring water, sunblock, sunglasses, umbrellas, and chairs, as needed.
