Each day gives us another chance to trust in the face of often opposing evidence. Trust is a choice, one that can break the chains of our own mental and emotional prisons. If we proclaim that our faith is real, then it is in the nitty-gritty everyday-ness that we walk, which is often a dark and chaotic path towards deeper union with God…that this is lived out. We take deep root in Christ, so we can walk the inner and outer waves that often assault us without sinking. All we need do is look towards Him, the Shepherd of our souls. In that is our true center, our Eternal Rock that we stand from….all else is shifting sands.
