People will often tell me how frustrating it is for them to pray. I understand of course. Some days the inner world is like a placid lake, on other days it is like a storm on the Red Sea. Yet all we need do is stay in the boat and ride it out. Sometimes Jesus is asleep and he can be a deep sleeper, or so it seems. Yet Our Lord is always there, no matter what we go through. We are in his everlasting-arms and he will never let us go.
